Graphene Waves, a company focused on providing high quality epitaxial graphene and devices based on epitaxial graphene, received a $112,000 grant from the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO). TEDCO joined with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to carry out the NIST Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program (N-STEP). The award will enable Graphene Waves to develop high quality epitaxy graphene film and a graphene-based quantum Hall resistance (QHR) standard for the calibration and standards industry.
